With the recent outbreak of the novel COVID-19 virus, various organizations have chosen to implement work from home. Check out these 4 tips to boost team engagement remotely below:

  • Be Open: Try to be open and discuss your team their tasks agenda it will promote transparency in communication and allow your team to know what is expected at the end of the working day.
  • Be Organized: In order to remain organized during this period, make use of online social platforms such as Skype, Slack, WhatsApp, FaceTime or even video conferencing to maintain that communication funnel with your team.
  • Be Trustworthy: Managers need to trust that their employees are engaged and motivated on tasks even if they are not in a work environment. Similarly, Employees need to trust that their managers are looking out for their best interest.
  • Be Patient: The outbreak of COVID-19 is a difficult period for everyone, managers and employees needs to be patient and accept that others will make mistakes and are doing their best.
